Pharmacy Technician - Hagerstown, MD

Job Description

Dragonfly Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support its pharmacy operations in Hagerstown, MD. The Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists in preparing medications for hospice patients, processing admissions, transfers, and discharges. They will manage phone inquiries, enter charges, and notify pharmacists as needed. The Pharmacy Technician will also select, prepare, and label medications for dispensing, prepare FedEx labels for shipments, and maintain inventory levels.

• Collaborating with pharmacy team members and hospice partners

Dragonfly Health requires candidates to have a high school diploma or equivalent, and certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred. A Pharmacy Technician license in the state is required, if applicable. Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician is also required, and hospice and palliative care experience is preferred. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, typing, computer, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities. Familiarity with Framework LTC dispensing software and pharmacy automation is also preferred.
