Groupon is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team in Dublin. This role involves helping local businesses grow through Groupon's platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in full-cycle sales and a proactive mindset.
What this role involves: - Cold calling local businesses to pitch and close deals
- Building relationships and understanding merchant needs
- Using sales strategy to create win-win offers
- Handling contract negotiations (margins, discounts, etc.)
- Hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Working with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding
- Helping grow the quality and revenue of local markets
Requirements: - Experience in full-cycle (360°) sales
- Experience in inside sales via phone, email, and social media
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Resilience, drive, and a proactive mindset
- Great listening skills and persuasiveness
- CRM knowledge (Salesforce is a plus!)
