Groupon is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team in Dublin. This role involves helping local businesses grow through Groupon's platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in full-cycle sales and a proactive mindset.
    What this role involves:
  • Cold calling local businesses to pitch and close deals
  • Building relationships and understanding merchant needs
  • Using sales strategy to create win-win offers
  • Handling contract negotiations (margins, discounts, etc.)
  • Hitting or exceeding sales targets
  • Working with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding
  • Helping grow the quality and revenue of local markets
    Requirements:
  • Experience in full-cycle (360°) sales
  • Experience in inside sales via phone, email, and social media
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Resilience, drive, and a proactive mindset
  • Great listening skills and persuasiveness
  • CRM knowledge (Salesforce is a plus!)
