Senior IT Engineer

Job Description

Nozomi Networks is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to manage IT back-office integrations and operational functions. This role is based in Mendrisio, Italy. The Senior IT Engineer will enhance end-user experience, infrastructure operations, and enterprise application management. The candidate will troubleshoot, integrate new systems, and lead junior IT staff across multiple sites while supporting various offices and remote employees.

In this role, the Senior IT Engineer will:

• Provide internal Tier 2 technical support for IT infrastructure.
• Manage and administer a mixed-platform client system environment.
• Develop, implement, and maintain proactive monitoring for endpoint health.
• Oversee company-wide IT integration projects.
• Drive automation projects to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coach and mentor junior IT staff.
• Implement security best practices for IT systems.

To be successful in this opportunity, the candidate should have:

• 5+ years of experience in IT support, infrastructure operations, and cloud-based systems management.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
• Strong proficiency in enterprise IT tools such as Microsoft 365, Slack, and Entra ID.
• Hands-on experience with IT automation, scripting, and integration projects.
• Experience using automation tools like BetterCloud or Workato.
• Experience with MDM tools like Kandji, Intune, or Jamf.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
