Job Description
DLH Corp is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician 2 (BMET) to deliver improved health and national security readiness solutions. The BMET will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of medical equipment, ensuring its proper functionality and safety. This role involves diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs, and conducting electrical tests on equipment such as sterilizers, X-ray tables, and respirators.Responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining and repairing electrical equipment.
  • Diagnosing malfunctions.
  • Repairing and testing electrical equipment.
  • Working with hydraulic systems.
  • Using electronic test equipment.
  • Selecting proper replacement parts.
  • Interpreting blueprints and schematic drawings.
  • Performing maintenance cycles on medical equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of the Department of Defense (DoD) Medical Equipment Repairers Course or certified through the International Certification Commission (CBET) or have at least earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Medical Equipment Technology.
  • Minimum three (3) or more years of experience as a BMET.
  • Ability to pass a NACI background investigation and acquire a CAC.
  • Ability to pass a NCIC investigation and scored credit check per federal and contractual requirements.
  • Must be a US citizen.
