Senior Software Engineer at Clutch Technologies Inc.

Clutch, Canada’s largest online used car retailer, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team, headquartered in Toronto. The Senior Software Engineer will write clean, readable, and testable code that adheres to best practices. He will also collaborate with the team to design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient system architectures. Furthermore, he will lead projects from initial planning through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

What Clutch is looking for:

• B.S. degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years relevant industry experience developing software solutions.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g. Typescript, Python).
• Strong understanding of Frontend and/or Backend frameworks (e.g. React/Vue).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience in optimizing application performance.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
