Appnovation is seeking an Associate Blockchain Developer – Backend Developer to join their team in Hong Kong. The candidate will work closely with senior engineers to design, build, and maintain scalable and secure blockchain-based backend systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of Web3 innovation and contribute to cutting-edge decentralized applications and services.Role involves:
  • Developing and maintaining backend components of blockchain-based applications.
  • Working with smart contracts, distributed systems, and cryptographic protocols.
  • Building and integrating APIs for interacting with blockchain networks and external services.
  • Collaborating with front-end developers and product teams.
  • Writing clean, secure, and well-documented code.
  • Assisting in testing, debugging, and deploying blockchain-based applications.
  • Monitoring and optimizing performance of backend systems and smart contract interactions.
  • Staying updated on industry trends.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in backend development.
  • Solid understanding of programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Go, or Rust.
  • Familiarity with blockchain technologies such as Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of smart contracts and tools like Web3.js, Ethers.js, or Hardhat.
  • Exposure to cryptocurrency protocols and token standards (e.g., ERC-20, ERC-721).
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience with database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
