Job Description

The Strategic Sales Director role at dbt Labs involves managing the enterprise customer base and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive member of the Sales team, located in the North Central region (MN or IL preferred).

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients.
  • Deepen dbt Cloud's presence in existing accounts.
  • Engage with technology partners to optimize impact.
  • Contribute to team projects to develop the sales process.
  • Work with product teams to maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of closing experience in technology sales.
  • Proven track record of exceeding annual targets.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Diligence and organizational skills for intricate sales cycles.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for being an inclusive teammate.
  • Experience with SQL or willingness to learn.
