Industrious is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to join its Engineering Team in Montreal. The Engineering Manager will lead the Growth team, focusing on the company's website, lead generation, and member experience. This role involves shaping the future of public and member applications that are used daily by thousands of users.
    Role Involves:
  • Ensuring the app’s architecture aligns with business goals.
  • Fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Providing mentorship and support for team members.
  • Enforcing coding standards and best practices.
  • Reviewing code quality and encouraging continuous improvement.
  • Guiding the team through technical challenges.
  • Taking ownership of app performance and proactively identifying areas for improvement.
    Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager (3+ years).
  • Fullstack engineer experience (5+ years).
  • Experience in e-commerce apps with A/B testing.
  • In-depth knowledge of technical SEO best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, ReactJS, NodeJS, MongoDB and Apache Kafka.
  • Understanding of distributed architecture and micro services.
  • Desire for continuous self-improvement and collaboration.
