Senior DevOps Engineer

Industrious is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Engineering Team in Montreal. The candidate will play a critical role in shaping the company's vision of a better workday into reality. This role involves collaborating within the development team and cross-functionally to implement technology aligning with Industrious' overall architecture and data strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement, and build deployment solutions, focusing on reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
• Design and implement solutions for new and existing products that align with Industrious' systems architecture and data strategy.
• Work with Github actions or other build tools in a CI/CD process to build and deploy to our AWS cloud environment.
• Improve and maintain application monitoring.
• Maintain, update, and implement policies to improve our security.
• Schedule and perform system maintenance and software upgrades regularly.
• Future-proof proposed solutions, anticipating needs and implementing them with growth in mind.
• Contribute to the team culture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer (5+ years).
• Mastery of a programming language (Python preferred; Typescript on Node.js a plus).
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS bonus).
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure with IAC tools like Terragrunt and Terraform.
• Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions bonus).
• Familiarity with architecting software solutions involving several cloud components.
