Job Description
DoorDash is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Consumer Promotions Strategy team. This role is based in Toronto or Vancouver and focuses on guiding consumer promotional campaigns to engage consumers and drive business growth. The Senior Associate will execute campaigns across in-app and CRM channels, optimizing them through experimentation and A/B testing.
The role involves analyzing consumer data to gain insights into consumer behavior, which will then be used to innovate offer constructs, in-app surfaces, and messaging. The Senior Associate will report to the Senior Manager, Promotion Strategy on the Consumer Retention Marketing team.
Responsibilities: - Solve company challenges related to balancing growth with profitability.
- Work with complex data sets to uncover valuable insights.
- Develop and launch promotional campaigns.
- Run experiments and A/B tests.
- Perform analysis to balance in-campaign growth with long-term retention and consumer lifetime value.
- Report on weekly campaign performance.
- Work on cross-functional programs with various teams.
- Recommend tactics to improve conversion or volume.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-4 years of experience in pricing and promotions, growth marketing, marketing analytics, management consulting, or business analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with intermediate to advanced SQL skills.
- Experience digging into large data sets.
- Experience with dashboarding tools (Mode, Sigma, or Tableau).
- Ability to see the big picture and execute at a detailed level.
- Strong bias for action.
