Robotic Integration Engineer (m/f/d)

A German dual-use technology company is seeking a motivated Robotic Integration Engineer to join their London office and contribute to the development of engineering strategies. The Robotic Integration Engineer will focus on streamlining the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge software solutions for robotic systems. The Robotic Integration Engineer will be involved in:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining software for robotic systems
• Integrating sensors and hardware interfaces seamlessly with robotic technologies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to incorporate innovative robotics solutions into existing systems
• Conducting thorough testing and validation to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting issues both onsite and remotely
• Documenting software designs, development processes, and system configurations clearly
• Optimizing system architectures to support evolving technologies

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Practical experience in integrating sensors and hardware interfaces with robotic systems
• Proficiency in C++ and ROS (Robot Operating System), with familiarity in using version control (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, serial) and networking protocols (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, etc.)
• Experience with software development tools and methodologies
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
• Excellent communication skills in English
