Job Description
A Sales Executive (m/f/d) is needed to support sales and account growth strategies for a portfolio company. This role involves driving successful transactions, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to various projects across commercial operations and platform optimisation. The company is a next-generation supply chain platform redefining how one of the world’s largest industries sources, distributes, and finances materials. It uses agentic AI and workflow automation to provide access to premium materials at scale.
The Sales Executive will collaborate with customers, track market trends, and partner with the tech team to improve platform functionality. The role requires first experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management, or Account Management, strong analytical skills, and native-level English communication skills.
In this role, you’ll:
- Facilitate and oversee trades on the platform
- Collaborate with customers to handle questions, issues, or feedback
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Track market trends, product demand, and competitor activity
- Analyse trade data to support commercial strategy
- Partner with the tech team to provide feedback on platform functionality and UX
- Ensure all trades follow relevant regulations and internal compliance policies
Your Profile:
- First experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management, or Account Management
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field (Master’s is a plus)
- Native-level English communication skills
- Basic understanding of international trade or supply chain management is a plus
