Job Description
Convera is seeking a Head of B2B Business Development to drive B2B sales across Asia. This role involves leading a team of Business Development Managers, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and achieving revenue targets. The Head of Business Development will contribute to sales strategic planning, manage team performance, and maintain knowledge of the FX market.
Role Involves:
- Contributing to sales strategic planning and business development initiatives
- Developing and executing strategic sales plans
- Managing performance, hiring, coaching, and developing employees
- Maintaining knowledge of the FX market and business trends
- Identifying new leads and opportunities
- Achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Developing long-term sales strategies with key partners
- Seeking new business opportunities
- Introducing relevant support functions to clients
- Leading negotiations with clients
- Tracking performance metrics using sales tools like Salesforce
Requirements:
- 7+ years of B2B sales experience in international payments or financial services
- 3+ years in FX
- Leadership experience
- Proven ability to influence C-Suite level relationships
- Strong sales management and strategic account management skills
- Knowledge of international payments and foreign exchange products
- Financially astute with knowledge of business needs/concerns
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Highspot) and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and in a target-driven environment
- Fluent in English
