Staff Software Engineer - JAVA

Job Description

Convera is seeking a Staff Software Engineer with expertise in Java, Spring framework and Spring Boot, and IBM MQ. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing new software, maintaining and improving existing software, ensuring code optimization, and troubleshooting application issues. They will work within a geographically distributed team and independently on complex projects.

Role involves:

• Developing and implementing new software
• Maintaining and improving existing software
• Troubleshooting application issues
• Coordinating issue resolution with various teams

Requirements:

• 9-12 years of work experience
• Experience in Java, Spring framework and Spring Boot, and IBM MQ
• Strong hands-on Shell Scripting, REST API, and Microservices
• Experience in CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, TypeScript
• Knowledge of Database (RDBMS, NoSQL)
• Experience in Agile and Iterative development methodologies
• Good communication skills
