Job Description

Marqeta is seeking a Production Support Engineer II to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless operation of products and services. The candidate will be the first point of contact for customers, resolving complex technical issues and translating technical jargon. They will collaborate with Engineering teams on software updates and bug fixes, becoming an expert in Marqeta's offerings and advocating for customer needs.

Role Involves:

  • Providing high-quality support through various channels.
  • Performing problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Working cross-functionally to resolve issues.
  • Providing on-call support.
  • Monitoring production transaction volume and performance.
  • Documenting processes and learnings.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Technical Support, Production Support, or IT Support for B2B customers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (Salesforce, Jira, Confluence).
  • Good understanding of API technologies and troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable working within a Linux environment.
  • Intermediate SQL knowledge.
  • Scriptwriting skills (Python, Ruby, Shell).
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Kibana, Splunk, etc.).
  • Ability to learn new technologies and tools.
