Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a People Business Partner for a 12-month contract to cover a maternity leave. This role is based in Paris or London and requires fluency in French and English, along with in-depth knowledge of French labor law. Knowledge of UK labor law is a significant asset.This role involves being the primary point of contact for HR projects, collaborating with the People & Culture team, key stakeholders, and leaders to implement a strategic HR plan aligned with the needs of growing teams. The People Business Partner will support the Sales teams in France and the UK, the Enablement team across EMEA, and other departments as needed.Responsibilities:
  • Providing strategic HR leadership to leaders and stakeholders.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and coach to management.
  • Being the first point of contact for social relations matters.
  • Leading data-driven discussions with leaders to anticipate HR needs.
  • Collaborating on essential HR programs such as career development and DEI.
  • Piloting strategic projects and change initiatives.
  • Supporting managers with coaching and advice on HR best practices.
  • Collaborating with global P&C partners to ensure alignment with global policies.
  • Being a cultural ambassador, shaping a positive employee experience.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience as an HR generalist and People Business Partner in a tech company.
  • University degree in HR or a related field.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • In-depth knowledge of French labor law.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Creative mindset with a drive to bring insights into discussions.
