Financial Data Analyst

Job Description

Pharmbills is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to ensure smooth, clean, and trustworthy operations for U.S. healthcare clients. This is a remote contract role requiring services during New York business hours. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and see the human side of numbers.

Responsibilities:

• Classify and reconcile financial transactions using QuickBooks Online.
• Support billing, accounts payable, and tax processes.
• Assist in month-end closing with clarity and confidence.
• Build and manage databases and reports using SQL, Excel, and BI tools.
• Analyze customer data for insights, trends, and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance, accuracy, and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in finance or data analysis.
• Strong Excel and SQL skills; QuickBooks experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with structured data (JSON, XML).
• A sharp eye, steady hands, and deep care for detail.
• Bonus: experience in healthcare systems or benefits platforms.
