Senior Frontend Engineer

Job Description

PayPay Card Corporation is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to contribute to the development of the PayPay Card mini-application and other web frontend initiatives. This role focuses on scalability and maintainability, aiming to revolutionize the credit card industry by enhancing the credit card experience and re-architecting frontend systems.

The Senior Frontend Engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and tech teams to implement features, improve frontend architecture, and bring the product vision to life. They will also contribute to the team by sharing knowledge, participating in code reviews, and ensuring best practices.

Responsibilities include:

• Implementing features in collaboration with Product Managers, Designers, and tech teams.
• Improving the frontend architecture based on product and technical roadmaps.
• Contributing to the team by sharing knowledge and participating in code reviews.
• Improving the product’s long-term technical quality.
• Triaging, debugging, and resolving product issues.

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of industry experience developing secure web frontend applications in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• At least 2 years of industry experience with VueJS (preferred) or React.
• Experience with designing frontend architecture.
• Experience with leading frontend project development.
• Software engineering best practices and computer science knowledge.
• Experience with building frontend hosting infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• English business proficiency.
