Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Manager of Mid Market Sales to lead and expand business across Australia. This role involves driving strategy, growing revenue through new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion, and meeting sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record of leading teams to exceed quotas in a fast-paced, technical environment.
What This Role Involves:
- Leading a team of Mid-Market Account Executives across Australia.
- Developing knowledge of Elastic's technology platform and partner ecosystem.
- Contributing to sales plan creation and customer segmentation.
- Ensuring attainment of sales quotas by driving Elastic’s sales methodology.
- Fostering teamwork, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Maintaining relationships with the Open Source community and partner ecosystems.
- Traveling occasionally for deal creation and team support.
- Partnering across Elastic’s leadership community.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years experience managing sales teams.
- Consistent track record of leading teams to exceed quotas.
- Strong SaaS sales leadership skills.
- Ability to accurately track forecasting and deal execution.
- Executive-level relationships with key accounts.
- Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 15%).
