Elastic is seeking a Design Lead to guide the search experience and UX team. This role involves leading a team to improve the performance, security, and reliability of products used globally. The Design Lead will collaborate with product management and engineering to deliver key initiatives and nurture the team's growth.

Responsibilities:

• Apply design, research, product, and technical skills to lead product experience.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to deliver user-centric experiences.
• Drive business objectives and improve user metrics.
• Nurture team learning and growth through mentorship and development.
• Improve collaboration and standard methodologies across search teams.
• Manage multiple priorities and provide impactful focus.
• Work closely with UX research and writing teams.
• Partner with the platform team and support the design system.
• Work with UX leadership to grow the UX organization.
• Build relationships across the business to ensure connectedness.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous hands-on experience in UX design or research.
• Proven track record of driving vision and strategy.
• 5+ years of direct people management experience.
• Experience conducting user research and working with analytics tools.
• Familiarity with Figma and other design tools.
• Passion for learning and self-development.
• Organized self-starter with remote work experience.
