AppEx - Kibana Core - Backend Engineer (TypeScript, Node.js)

Job Description

Elastic is seeking a Backend Engineer to join the Kibana Core team. This role involves contributing to the development of hosted and on-premise offerings, collaborating with a team of engineers, and writing code that underpins Kibana's success. The engineer will assist in delivering a scalable cloud offering and work on a codebase consisting of UX, APIs, and services.

What this role involves:

• Contributing to the development of hosted and on-premise offerings.
• Collaborating with other Operations, Engineering, and Documentation teams.
• Assisting in delivering a scalable cloud offering.
• Working on a codebase that consists of UX, APIs, and services.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of web application development experience.
• Knowledgeable with some combination of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Ability to work with a worldwide team in a distributed work environment.
• Passionate about JavaScript or web development in general.
