Job Description

Elastic is seeking a Senior JavaScript Engineer to join the Kibana Management team. This role focuses on enhancing the user experience for administrators of the Elastic platform. The engineer will collaborate with product, design, and Elasticsearch engineers to develop intuitive interfaces for centralized system management, addressing the needs of major customers.

What this role involves:

• Developing and maintaining user-friendly applications using React and TypeScript.
• Partnering with product managers, designers, and Elasticsearch back-end developers.
• Building, testing, and releasing features that improve administrative experience.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participating in code reviews.
• Improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
• Mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years working in a frontend-focused role.
• Passionate about JavaScript or web development.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a globally distributed team.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch is a plus.
