Sr. Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst, Cloud

Job Description

Elastic is seeking a Sr. Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to contribute to their cloud finance strategy. The successful candidate will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams, impacting the company's SaaS growth. This role offers opportunities to learn from senior team members and advance within the Cloud FP&A track.Responsibilities:

• Utilize tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, and Finout to identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with PM and SRE teams to automate processes.
• Recommend cost-saving measures such as Reserved Instance (RI) purchases.
• Optimize cloud spend through rightsizing and resource management.
• Partner with Finance teams (Accounting, A/P, and Internal Audit) to support month-end close, flux reviews, and reporting.
• Build insightful reports and dynamic dashboards to uncover usage trends and pinpoint risks, driving efficiency.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in finance, preferably in a SaaS company.
• Comfort using cloud cost management tools and knowledge of cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Excel.
• Passion for learning more about Elastic's products.
