Job Description
Datacor, a leading provider of software solutions, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Applied Flow Technology (AFT) team. This role is based in Colorado Springs, CO, and involves building the future of their software and shaping the next generation of flow analysis tools. The Software Engineer will work with engineers, designers, and other developers to deliver solutions that meet user needs.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance and expand Windows applications with new features and functionalities.
- Extend reach into new technical areas and build seamless integrations with other applications.
- Champion Agile development practices using CI/CD pipelines, modern source control branching strategies, and QA test automation.
- Architect efficient and maintainable code through clean design principles and effective testing strategies.
- Craft intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that streamline complex workflows and empower engineers.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and other developers to deliver solutions that meet user needs.
- Stay on top of industry trends and embrace learning new technologies to continuously improve skillset.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with structured programming languages such as C# or C++.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience with Git or SVN, GitFlow, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
