Job Description
A well-known company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide electrical and mechanical maintenance support to plant and facility operations. This role requires maintaining and repairing plant machinery while adhering to regulatory standards. The position involves a flexible schedule with a focus on preventive maintenance and timely repairs.Responsibilities Include:
  • Troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical functions.
  • Prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintaining equipment according to specifications.
  • Generating work orders and parts requests.
  • Operating equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts.
  • Maintaining GMP, Safety, and Food Safety knowledge.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.
  • 4 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic.
  • PLC experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food grade aluminum and stainless-steel welding techniques.
  • Complete knowledge of fabrication techniques.
  • Electrical knowledge and packing machinery experience a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and be self-motivated.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Acetylene).
  • Must be able to read electrical schematics.
  • Must have their own set of professional electrical tools.
