Senior Software Engineer II (Fullstack) - Integrations Team

SurveyMonkey is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack) to join their Integrations & Connect engineering team in India. The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving challenging technical problems and collaborating with product owners and customers to build the best solutions. This role involves delivering versatile full-stack functionality to support the next set of integrations, driving customer adoption, and enhancing the customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining enterprise integration services across multiple data-regions
• Writing high-quality front-end and back-end code
• Taking ownership of new features from technical specs to post-release metrics
• Building observable systems to track important metrics
• Participating in code reviews
• Investigating and addressing performance, scalability, and maintainability issues
• Mentoring and guiding other engineers

Requirements:

• 8+ years in web application development with full stack experience
• Experience leading and shipping large-scale cross functional projects
• Expertise in designing and building services and APIs
• Experience with REST/GraphQL and coding against internal/external services and APIs
• Experience with Python and frameworks like FastAPI, Flask or Pyramid
• Experience with React and Javascript
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming languages and design patterns
• Experience with code reviews and writing tech specs
• Ability to work in agile environments with frequent deployments
• Practices automated testing and enforces good code quality
• Excellent communication skills
• A growth/data mindset
