Job Description
Praxent is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to champion client outcomes and continuous improvement. The Principal Software Engineer will use their expertise in architecting applications, defining DevOps processes, and clarifying requirements to help ensure products deliver maximum business value. They will also accelerate the velocity of teams by conducting rigorous technical planning, subtasking, and estimations.Role involves:
  • Architecting complex systems
  • Leading software estimation
  • Establishing DevOps processes
  • Configuring cloud-based deployment environments
  • Conducting technical reviews
  • Identifying and addressing performance issues
  • Conducting technical planning, rigorous subtasking, advance research
  • Estimating software release timelines
  • Presenting technical approach for features, project extensions, and add-ons
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in solution architecture and technical design
  • Specialization in cloud architecture and integration solutions
  • Knowledge and experience in system design, API development, infrastructure management, and architectural best practices
  • 1+ years of leadership experience in technical teams
  • Competence in technical scoping, subtasking, and estimation
