Sotheby's is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to join their team. This role involves expertise in quality processes and technical leadership in high-level test designs within CI/CD and local environments. The ideal candidate will be able to solve complex technical problems and develop scalable test automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, Dev Ops, and Engineering Managers.
Develop quality initiatives monitoring tools and common frameworks.
Drive the adoption of best practices in test automation code design and maintenance.
Partner with teams to analyze application requirements and develop automated tests.
Conduct system analysis to uncover potential quality issues.
Mentor engineers on test automation and tooling.
Assist in resolving technical blockers to automation initiatives.
Perform maintenance of test frameworks.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.
7+ years of experience as a Sr. Software Developer in Test.
Proficient in object-oriented and scripting languages.
Proven analytical and leadership skills.
Experience in creating and maintaining documentation for technical processes and tools.
Hands-on experience with test automation processes in CI/CD environments and tools like Selenium/Webdrier.io, TestNG, API testing tools, and Appium.
Sound knowledge of cloud technologies and tools including K8s and Docker.
Good understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD systems.
