Manager, EMEA Community

Job Description

Reddit is seeking a Manager of Community for EMEA to lead a growing team and spearhead the development and execution of the community strategy that supports Reddit’s growth in the region. The Manager will lead a team of Community Specialists and will take charge of defining the roadmap for community activation and moderation across focus markets, and help develop Reddit's international playbook. The role involves experimenting, iterating, and refining processes that drive community engagement at scale.Responsibilities include:

• Crafting and championing the regional community strategy.
• Driving the iteration, innovation, and scaling of the community and moderator growth playbook.
• Inspiring and empowering regional teams to execute impactful programs.
• Recruiting, onboarding, and training local community specialists.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Gathering regional insights and learnings.

Required qualifications include:

• 5-7 years of experience in community management or operations, including 1-2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable testing, iterating, and adjusting strategies.
• Data-driven and results-oriented.
• Deep understanding of Reddit’s unique identity.
• Fluency in English, and in one of the European languages: German, French, Italian or Spanish.
• Resident of the UK, France or Germany.
