Job Description

Reddit is seeking a Staff Community Manager, Policy & Strategic Response (EMEA) to join their Community team in London. This role is crucial for ensuring community policies are understood and enforced consistently across global markets, supporting Reddit's mission of empowering communities. The Staff Community Manager will partner with the global growth organization, providing expertise and guidance on community policies.

The role involves handling crisis situations, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and communicating with leadership to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will be resilient, flexible, and capable of directing stakeholders towards solutions, with a strategic mindset regarding risk and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring international growth strategies align with Reddit’s community policies.
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks related to platform and business decisions.
• Providing support on community policy issues impacting international markets.
• Managing internal stakeholders and balancing differing opinions.
• Representing international communities in policy initiatives.
• Listening to community needs and facilitating policy discussions.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Community-oriented program and policy management experience with global scope.
• Experience with platform moderation and knowledge of online community trends.
• Expert communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience providing decision support to peers and leaders.
• Effective consensus-building skills.
