Job Description

Reddit is seeking a Trust & Safety Policy Contractor to join their Legal Removals Policy team for a six-month contract. The contractor will specialize in reviewing reports of alleged local law violations submitted by users from around the world, including the EU, UK, and India. They will be required to review content against Reddit Rules and take action on clearly violative content.

Responsibilities:

  • Enforce Reddit rules consistently and fairly
  • Review reports of alleged local law violations against Reddit rules
  • Provide Spanish or another European language support to the team
  • Escalate edge-case reviews and undefined scenarios to subject matter leads for additional analysis
  • Provide constructive feedback on current processes and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively
  • Troubleshoot and identify bugs or user-related issues
  • Process other types of legal removal requests (e.g. DMCA/Copyright & Trademark requests), as required.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience reviewing content against enforcement rules/policies within tech industry
  • Experience processing legal removal requests and additional language expertise (e.g. Spanish or other European languages etc) is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ready to work across time zones and be flexible on working hours.
