Director, Global Channel Partnerships

Job Description

Reddit is seeking a Director of Global Channel Partnerships to lead and accelerate growth within its global channel partner business. This role involves expanding the partner network, redefining sales strategies, and fostering a high-performance culture. The Director will be the primary point of contact for global channel partners, building strong relationships, instilling sales rigor, and representing Reddit on international platforms. They will inspire internal teams, ensure partner support, and enable partner success as an extension of the core sales teams.Responsibilities include:

• Defining and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy for global channel partners.
• Building and maintaining relationships with C-level and VP-level executives at partner organizations.
• Negotiating complex partnership agreements to align with Reddit’s expansion strategy.
• Expanding the partner network and identifying investments for growth and efficiency.
• Building a strong sales rigor at partner organizations by setting clear targets and tracking key metrics.
• Managing, coaching, and developing a team of partner managers.
• Advocating for channel partners internally and building a robust infrastructure to support them.
• Collaborating with internal teams to create scaled programs and sales initiatives.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and the competitive landscape.
• Representing Reddit at key industry events.

Requirements include:

• 12+ years of experience in digital media, with 7+ years in people management within digital media sales.
• Proven background in building complex reseller partnerships.
• Experience leading a team to sell into reseller partners and exceeding revenue targets.
• Deep familiarity with the channel partner and ads reseller ecosystem.
• Customer-centric approach with strong sales mentality and commercial acumen.
• Expertise in building relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Tenacious and entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving.
• Passion for mentoring and fostering career growth.
• Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage change effectively.
• Demonstrated high achievement against sales targets.
• Prior startup or high-growth experience preferred.
