Reddit is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Mid Market DACH, to join their team in Amsterdam. This role is pivotal in expanding Reddit's advertising presence in the DACH region. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a strong understanding of the media landscape and a passion for building relationships with clients and agencies.Reddit is a community-driven platform with over 100,000 active communities and 101M+ daily active unique visitors. The EMEA Mid-Market international team is responsible for building the international ads engine outside of the US, onboarding & growing advertisers to achieve their marketing objectives with proven solutions and at pace globally.
Responsibilities: - Act as the CEO of your book of business, and take full ownership of strategic bets, revenue forecasting, and ensuring operational rigor.
- Generate advertising revenue from assigned clients via ad agencies and advertisers directly, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
- Responsible for revenue quota of assigned book of business each quarter
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Own client meetings from agenda to final presentation, instilling confidence and setting all interactions up for success by appropriately setting client expectations, identifying outcomes, and communicating clear next steps
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients to communicate major platform updates, releases, changes, and/or opportunities that will deepen or expand the relationship
- Provide strategic, proactive, and consultative advice to clients in order to uplevel and grow the relationship; Identify areas of additional opportunity within existing client relationships, including new lines of business, and move them through to close
- Enable and onboard new to Reddit Clients in collaboration with a Acquisition Client Partner
- Communicate feedback on our sales processes, narratives, and products in order to advocate for customers and improve the team's effectiveness and efficiency
- Implement & optimize campaigns ( with the help of account strategists) to meet our clients’ advertising objectives through performance-driven or awareness campaigns
- Pull and analyze data to compile compelling and actionable insights to move your clients' businesses forward.
- Recognize and represent client needs and asks to cross-functional stakeholders
- Proactively and continually identify areas of improvement
Requirements: - 3+ years of relevant experience in online media sales(platform experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of the media landscape across the DACH region
- Client-facing experience in advertising sales, account management, or paid social campaign management
- Experience in monitoring marketing campaign performance, and make manual optimizations or strategic recommendations as needed
- Experience in Pulling and analyze data to compile compelling and actionable insights to move your clients' businesses forward.
