PhonePe Group is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive merchant acquisition and servicing in Vrindavan, Bangalore. This role involves managing a team of 8-10 Business Development Executives and reporting to the Area Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding PhonePe's market share in the offline business.
Responsibilities: - Grow merchant network through acquisition and servicing.
- Ensure brand visibility in the assigned territory.
- Facilitate hiring and training of Business Development Executives.
- Monitor KPIs and coach team members.
Requirements: - MBA from Tier 2/3 campus with a good academic record.
- 2-4 years of experience in sales managing a sales team.
- Experience in Telecom, FMCG, or Retail is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service focus.
- Field sales experience with a proven track record.
