Job Description
PhonePe Group is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive merchant acquisition and servicing in Vrindavan, Bangalore. This role involves managing a team of 8-10 Business Development Executives and reporting to the Area Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding PhonePe's market share in the offline business.Responsibilities:
  • Grow merchant network through acquisition and servicing.
  • Ensure brand visibility in the assigned territory.
  • Facilitate hiring and training of Business Development Executives.
  • Monitor KPIs and coach team members.
Requirements:
  • MBA from Tier 2/3 campus with a good academic record.
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales managing a sales team.
  • Experience in Telecom, FMCG, or Retail is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service focus.
  • Field sales experience with a proven track record.
