Job Description
PhonePe is seeking a dynamic and passionate Telugu Linguist to create customer-centric localized content. The Linguist will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive user experience by providing accurate and culturally relevant content in Telugu. This includes brand and corporate communications, in-app content, and support materials. PhonePe values creating a transparent and trusted regional experience for its end users.
Responsibilities:
- Read, write, and speak Telugu & English fluently.
- Localize English text into simple, customer-centric Telugu content.
- Proofread localized Telugu content for accuracy and customer-centricity.
- Complete tasks within agreed timelines, focusing on high-quality content.
- Communicate openly with stakeholders regarding task progress and challenges.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in content writing/localization.
- Fair understanding of the digital payments space.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CMS.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Multilingual capabilities are an advantage.
