Site Reliability Engineer - Azure

Job Description

PhonePe Group is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team in Bangalore. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and efficiency of PhonePe's services. The ideal candidate will have experience in building tools, services, and automation to manage and improve production services on Azure.He/She will be responsible for:

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
• Automating tasks using Perl/GoLang/Python.
• Designing, building, and maintaining core infrastructure.
• Participating in 24x7 on-call rotations.
• Driving performance testing, capacity planning, and high availability practices.
• Monitoring and resolving potential infrastructure issues.

Requirements include:

• Knowledge of Linux cloud services and containerization technologies.
• Understanding of Azure PaaS components.
• Proficiency in Perl/GoLang/Python.
• Strong command-line skills in Linux.
• Knowledge of database technologies like MySQL/NoSQL is a plus.
