Defensive Security Analyst-EU

Job Description

SpecterOps is seeking a Defensive Security Analyst to bolster Security Operations at a client site. The analyst will work directly with client personnel and systems, independently supporting the engineering, management, and monitoring of Security Operations Center (SOC) systems. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills in security operations, excellent interpersonal skills, and is well-organized and self-directed.Role Involves:

• Supporting client engineering.
• Managing and monitoring SOC systems.
• Providing expertise for incident response and digital forensics.

Requirements:

• Established experience in a SOC environment.
• Knowledge of SIEM operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of cloud architectures, particularly AWS.
• Experience with incident response and digital forensics.
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Must be an EU citizen.
• Must reside in the EU.
• Must be available Monday through Friday, 9AM - 6PM local time.
• Must be available for after-hours or weekend work in urgent incident response scenarios.
