Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Ads

Job Description

Discord is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join its Ads team. This role involves revolutionizing user interaction with the platform through innovative ad formats, including Quests. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences and scaling the platform. This position is US based only.

• Designing, building, and maintaining new Ads products and infrastructure from backend to frontend.
• Collaborating with engineers across various teams, including Revenue Infrastructure, Core Tech, Machine Learning, and Data Science.
• Partnering with engineering, product, and cross-functional leadership to design, develop, and scale digital advertising features.
• Architecting simple and maintainable systems for rapid launch and iteration while maintaining high product and technical quality.
• Modeling strong ownership by acting autonomously and involving others when necessary.
• Introducing coding and operational best practices to the team.
• Owning projects end-to-end, from refining requirements to implementation and maintenance.
