Product Manager, Growth

Job Description

Discord is seeking a Product Manager to join its Growth team and lead the Notifications team. This role is pivotal in enhancing user engagement and growth across the platform by creating effective notification experiences. The Product Manager will be responsible for defining the product vision, building systems and features, and ideating creative solutions to keep users connected with their friends.Responsibilities:

• Guide the product philosophy, vision, and roadmap for Notifications Platform and Experiences at Discord.
• Lead cross-functional execution with a team of Engineers, Designers, ML engineers, and Data Scientists.
• Drive improvements to notification delivery infrastructure.
• Partner with other product teams across Discord.
• Make independent decisions for the product area and gain buy-in from leadership.
• Communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions.
• Define and own performance against key engagement metrics.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping software.
• Proven track record of impact through solving user experience problems at scale.
• Strong analytical ability to leverage data for informed product decisions.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working with engineers.
• Strong product sense and understanding of customer needs around notifications and engagement.
• Experience working on notification systems and engagement mechanisms.
• Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
