Business Development - Entertainment Intern

Job Description

Authentic is seeking a Business Development - Entertainment Intern for a summer internship in their Shanghai office. The intern will be trained in brand licensing, mentored by experienced leaders, and gain business acumen. They will assist in generating new business by identifying and qualifying leads to join Authentic's global network of licensing partners. What this role involves:

• Researching the market to identify potential business opportunities in the APAC region.
• Facilitating the collection of specific pitch deck needs and coordinating deck editing and preparation with in-house creative.
• Organizing brand materials for incorporation into pitches and presentations.
• Collecting and compiling data and copy for sales meetings and presentations.
• Supporting the implementation of new and ongoing sales efforts for the BD team.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled university student.
• Able to work up to 30 hours per week.
• Able to work onsite in our Shanghai office.
• Willingness to get your hands dirty and make things happen.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortability in a high-paced, collaborative environment.
• Detail oriented.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and G Suite.
• Process-driven and constantly looking for ways to streamline and simplify complex tasks.

What this role offers:

• Internship stipend: RMB 6000 / month (working up to 30 hours per week)
