Job Description
Blackbird Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinical Manager to provide leadership for a behavioral health team under the direction of the Director, Behavioral Health Services and the Director, Medical Services. The Clinical Manager will oversee clinical operations in Vienna and Chantilly, VA.

Role Involves:
  • Overseeing day-to-day clinical operations.
  • Supervising therapists' clinical care.
  • Managing therapists' PTO.
  • Training new therapists.
  • Delivering care to patients (~26 hours/week).
  • Addressing patient and family concerns.
  • Supporting recruitment and retention of therapist talent.
  • Providing clinical supervision for prelicensure staff.
  • Meeting with local pediatric practices to develop relationships for patient referrals.
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or related field.
  • VA license to practice psychotherapy.
  • 3 years' experience as a licensed therapist.
  • Ability to supervise pre-licensed therapists.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and best practices.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Leadership and management skills.
  • Cultural competency and sensitivity.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computer-based data management programs.
  • Schedule flexibility.
  • Live within 30 minutes from the clinic location in Chantilly, VA and be on-site a minimum of 3 days per week
