Global Commercial Launch Services Director

Job Description

Rocket Lab is seeking a Global Commercial Launch Services Director to be based in Long Beach, CA. This role is responsible for capturing commercial revenue through business development and sales, supporting the company's sustained operations and growth. The Director will oversee key commercial customer accounts, including Electron and Neutron launch vehicles, and Dedicated, Primary Rideshare, and Rideshare launch services.Role involves:

• Developing and overseeing the Global Commercial Launch Services strategy.
• Supporting commercial quote and proposal development.
• Executing strategies to grow new commercial business worldwide.
• Utilizing professional network and product knowledge to market launch services.
• Collaborating with the marketing team for aerospace industry events.
• Developing marketing materials.
• Identifying and capturing new customer accounts.
• Converting leads to quotes and drafting Launch Service Agreements (LSAs).
• Coordinating mission performance requirements with technical teams.
• Maintaining updated satellite market analysis.
• Hosting important customers during company events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in the aerospace industry.
• Experience with proposal development and business capture.
