Job Description
Two Six Technologies is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to design and develop embedded hardware solutions. This role involves leading innovative projects in advanced embedded and security applications. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced research and development environment.
Role involves:
- Leading the design, development, and testing of advanced hardware solutions.
- Overseeing PCB design using CAD tools.
- Researching and integrating productization solutions.
- Managing the bring-up, debugging, and validation of hardware designs.
- Coordinating manufacturing with contract board fabrication and assembly vendors.
- Documenting designs, layouts, and testing procedures.
- Collaborating with software, security, and mechanical teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in hardware design, including PCB layout, high-speed digital design, RF, and mixed-signal applications.
- Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium or KiCad.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity, RF impedance, EMI, and high-density multi-layer PCB design.
- Hands-on experience with debugging and validation tools.
- Experience working with low-speed and high-speed interface protocols.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
- Ability to work on-site in Arlington, VA.
