Production Finance Lead

Beast Industries is seeking a Production Finance Lead to join MrBeast Studios. The Production Finance Lead will provide financial and administrative support for digital production projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of production finance and accounting processes, and be highly organized and detail-oriented.

What this role involves:

• Assisting with the creation, management, and tracking of production budgets and financial reports
• Assisting in hiring and managing external production accounting teams
• Collaborating with production teams to ensure financial policies and procedures are followed
• Tracking and managing project expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgets
• Preparing daily hot costs, weekly cost reports and assist with variance analysis for ongoing productions
• Processing and reviewing production invoices and payment requests
• Working closely with accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial data
• Providing financial forecasting and analysis for ongoing and upcoming productions
• Supporting the development of cash flow projections and assist with project cash management
• Assisting with audits and internal reviews of financials for individual productions
• Working with department heads to ensure proper allocation of financial resources
• Liaising with external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders as needed for financial matters

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in production finance or a related field (film/TV/entertainment industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of production budgeting and accounting processes
• Proficiency in Excel, financial software, and industry-specific tools (e.g., Movie Magic Budgeting, EP Smart Accounting, PSL, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• A proactive, problem-solving approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
