Job Description
ZipRecruiter is seeking a Software Engineer - Machine Learning to join their R&D center in Tel Aviv. The ideal candidate will be a curious and self-driven ML Engineer with a passion for exploring the latest advancements in machine learning and Generative AI. He will enjoy tackling complex problems with clean, efficient code and have the skills to independently design and build end-to-end ML pipelines.

Role involves:
  • Building infrastructure to empower fellow engineers and data scientists.
  • Working in a high volume production environment.
  • Mastering scalability and enterprise-grade production services implementation.
  • Leading design for new products and initiatives.
  • Integrating with currently implemented best-practices.
  • Working with tools including Spark, Airflow, Kafka, DynamoDb, SQS, S3, Athena.
  • Collaborating within a highly skilled team.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 3+ years of coding experience with Java, Python, or Scala.
  • Experience in algorithm design and implementation or Machine learning.
  • End to end experience - owning feature from an idea stage, through design, architecture, coding, integration and deployment stages
  • Experience with Spark, MapReduce, Airflow, Kafka, Key/Value Stores like DynamoDB, SQL DB’s, SQS.
  • Experience dealing with data on high volume, high availability production systems.
  • Fluent with SQL.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Cloud - AWS, Azure, Google Cloud - an advantage
