Job Description
Labelbox is seeking a Product Engineer to join their Perception team. This role involves building user-friendly and efficient tools to support the development of cutting-edge AI systems. The Product Engineer will work on both the frontend and backend, creating UI components and reliable systems that help customers train better AI models. They will collaborate with stakeholders to bring ideas to life and ensure the platform runs smoothly.

Role Involves:
  • Building interactive and reliable tools for training AI models.
  • Creating, testing, and improving tools in a cross-functional team.
  • Solving complex technical challenges with practical solutions.
  • Assisting the support team to resolve issues and improve user experience.
  • Participating in on-call rotations to maintain system stability.
  • Improving team processes and software development practices.
  • Writing and reviewing technical documentation.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
  • Strong skills in TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with Python, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud tools.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks like React/Redux.
  • Ability to create interactive, responsive web pages from designs.
  • Proactive attitude and ownership of work.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Focus on clean, well-tested code.
