Trading Associate

Job Description

Galaxy Digital is seeking a Trading Associate to support the development and portfolio management of its asset management products. The Trading Associate will focus on assisting in efficient trading, product growth, and the development of a robust capital markets process. The role involves close collaboration with senior portfolio managers, sales, client services, and operations, as well as working across the firm as needed.

The Trading Associate will contribute to enhancing current capabilities in all areas of fund management within Galaxy Asset Management. This role offers the opportunity for career growth in a dynamic asset management business.

What this role involves:

• Executing and monitoring cryptocurrency, equity, fixed income, and derivative trades.
• Partnering with product development, portfolio management, and business development teams.
• Responding to internal ad hoc requests from sales, research, and product development teams.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of buy-side or sell-side trading experience.
• Experience with fund mechanics, pricing, liquidity, and product development.
• Multi-asset knowledge including crypto, equities, ETFs, derivatives, and FX.
• Strong technical skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg; familiarity with Python is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task, handle ambiguity, collaborate, research, and analyze topics.
