Day Shift Security Guard

Job Description

Galaxy is seeking a Day Shift Security Guard for their facility in Afton, TX. The Security Guard will be responsible for securing the premises and personnel by patrolling the property, monitoring surveillance and CCTV, inspecting buildings, structures, and access points, and controlling/permitting entry to the site. The role involves responding to incident/emergency situations, providing reports of daily patrols, performing regularly scheduled site inspections, and staying up-to-date on changes to company policies and local legal requirements.Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a security guard
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Experience with security equipment
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts
• Ability to travel to and from the Data Center site
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
