Vice President, Software Engineer - Finance Engineering

Galaxy, a digital asset and blockchain leader, is seeking a Vice President, Software Engineer to join their Finance Engineering team in London. This role involves building innovative reporting solutions that drive key financial decisions. The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of technology and finance, tackling complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.He/she will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with the Finance Engineering team to maintain and enhance existing solutions.
• Working with internal Finance and Accounting clients to develop new solutions.
• Providing first-line support to internal clients, addressing queries and resolving issues.
• Contributing to new Finance Engineering initiatives.

Galaxy is looking for someone who has:

• Excellent programming skills in Python and strong working knowledge of Pandas and PySpark libraries.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with integration of multiple platforms.
• Experience with ETL processes.
• Experience providing first-line support for business clients.
• Full SDLC process experience.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
