Teamcenter / NX Administrator

Job Description

Rocket Lab is seeking a Teamcenter / NX Administrator to drive improvements in design processes for the Neutron program. Based in Long Beach, CA, this role supports design organizations in the US and New Zealand. The administrator will focus on implementing standardized parts, BOM & drawing templates, alternate parts solutions, developing workflows and automations, and providing user support. • Drive improvements in PLM processes and CAD systems.
• Develop and maintain common parts and features.
• Create design tools and automations.
• Manage templates and best practices.
• Provide surge design support.
• Administer user access and licensing.
• Support and deliver training.
• Create and maintain documentation.
• Develop and deploy custom solutions using NX Open.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with Siemens NX & Teamcenter.
• Strong knowledge of CAD modeling and drawing creation.
• 2+ years of experience with programming using Python, C++, or similar.
• Experience managing version-controlled projects.
• Experience putting together UI applications.
